Accounting Module
The Accounting module forms the financial core of Mezan. The chart of accounts is the core concept where all modules create transactions that are recorded in the general ledger and other accounting reports.
Main Features of the Accounting Module
- Chart of Accounts: Maintain a chart of accounts to track your organization's financial structure.
- Manual Journals: Create and manage manual journal entries to record transactions in the general ledger.
- General Receipts: Record and manage payments that aren't specifically related to a purchase or sale.
- Opening Balances: Record and manage opening balances for different modules and accounts.
- Reporting Dimensions: Create and manage reporting dimensions to further analyze your financial reporting beyond just the chart of accounts. This is useful for concepts like cost centers, departments, projects, and more.
