Mezan Core
Your whole ledger in one system
From the quotation to the journal entry, from goods received to the balance sheet. Mezan Core runs your entire document cycle, not a slice of it.
- ZATCA Phase 2
- Multi-store and multi-branch
- Multi-currency
What is inside
-
Accounting
Chart of accounts, manual journals, opening balances, locked periods.
-
Sales and purchasing
Quotations, orders, invoices, receipts and notes.

Six systems that behave as one
There is no connector between them and no overnight sync. An invoice moves stock, posts its journal entry and reaches the report in the same moment.

A flexible chart of accounts, manual journals, opening balances, general receipts and locked periods.
-
Sales
Customers, quotations, invoices, receipts, credit notes and balance adjustments.
-
Purchasing
Vendors, purchase orders, invoices, goods received notes and cash expenses.
-
Inventory
Multiple stores and branches, serial numbers, units with conversions, stocktakes, transfers and consumptions.
-
Fixed assets
Assets and their transactions, depreciation and disposals, plus asset rentals with invoicing.
-
Reports
Over 30 reports: financial statements, aging both sides, product profitability and the VAT audit report.
Reporting dimensions
Know where the money actually goes
Instead of opening a new account for every project or branch, you define dimensions and tag the transaction itself. Every report then filters by them: an income statement for one project, the spend of one branch, the profitability of one customer — all from the same books.
- Dimensions nest, so a branch holds departments and a department holds projects
- They apply to sales, purchasing, manual journals and stock movements
- Every financial report accepts a dimension filter with no extra setup
- Saved table views mean you do not rebuild the same filter twice
What people use them for
-
Cost centres
Departments and teams inside the business.
-
Branches
Per-branch performance out of one ledger.
-
Projects
Revenue and cost tracked to project close.
-
Fleet and equipment
Running cost of each asset on its own.
E-invoicing
Phase 2, both flows
Mezan handles both ZATCA Phase 2 flows: reporting simplified invoices after issue, and clearing standard tax invoices before they reach the customer. Onboarding, signing and QR generation happen inside the system, not through a middleman.
- Device onboarding and certificate issuance from inside Mezan
- Invoice signing and the QR code on the printed document
- Credit and debit notes carried through the same flow
- Zero-rate and exemption reasons mapped to ZATCA’s own list
What reaches ZATCA
-
Simplified invoice
Reported after issue — retail and point of sale.
-
Standard tax invoice
Cleared before delivery — business to business.
-
Notes
Credit and debit notes tied to their original invoice.
-
VAT audit report
Reconcile what was filed against what is in the books.
The depth that never fits on a feature list
This is the difference between a system that lasts a month and one that lasts years. All of it is in Mezan today, and none of it appeared on our old site.

Common questions
Does Mezan work for an accountant running several businesses?
Yes. Mezan supports multiple organisations with separate books and separate permissions, and group-level reporting on the enterprise plan.
What is the difference between dimensions and cost centres?
A cost centre is one use of a dimension. A dimension in Mezan is a classification you define yourself — branch, project, cost centre, fleet — it can be nested, and every report accepts it as a filter.
Can I close a financial year and stop it being edited?
Yes. Locked periods block any entry or edit dated before a chosen date, and who can lift the lock is a permission you control.
Does Mezan handle more than one currency?
Yes, with per-currency precision and rounding rules — which is what matters when you import or pay suppliers outside the Kingdom.
